Presupuesto 2023: Mónaco expuso los objetivos para el próximo año ante los Concejales
En una extensa exposición que realizó la secretaria de Planificación, Inversión y Servicios Públicos, Silvina Mónaco continúo el debate del ejercicio financiero 2023 en las instalaciones del Centro Cultural Alem en el marco de la reunión de la Comisión de Presupuesto que preside el concejal Hugo Martínez, donde la funcionaria municipal expuso los objetivos para el próximo año.
La reunión fue presidida por el titular de la comisión y de la misma también participaron los concejales Raúl von der Thusen, Miriam Mora, Javier Calisaya, Walter Campos, Walter Abregú, Cintia Susñar y Pablo Lancapani, en tanto que la secretaria de Planificación, Inversión y Servicios Públicos estuvo representada por la titular del área, arquitecta Silvina Mónaco y el arquitecto José Silva.
Durante las dos horas y media que duró el encuentro, la secretaria de Obras Públicas realizó un análisis detallado de las diferentes obras que el Municipio se encuentra llevando adelante y de las obras ya concluidas, como así también señaló que se “trata de un presupuesto ambicioso y superador el presentado por el Intendente Pérez para el año próximo, donde más de uno de cada tres pesos estarán destinados a obras públicas, siendo que del total, 3500 millones de pesos son fondos municipales y 6950 millones llegarán desde Nación”.
Por otro lado manifestó que “seguiremos dando soluciones concretas a situaciones históricas que tenemos en materia vial, hídrica y de saneamiento con una mirada fuerte en producción de suelo urbano”.

Tras la reunión el concejal Javier Calisaya manifestó que “hicimos un análisis de las obras que se ejecutaron y de las que están previstas para el 2023, hay muchas de ellas, incluidas muchas en proyectos nuestros, todavía no fueron tratadas en el Concejo, por lo cual estamos viendo de que se puedan aprobar antes de fin de año, dado que incluyen el plan de obra del Ejecutivo Municipal como pueden ser la bicisenda de la margen sur, veredas o pavimento de algunas calles del barrio ‘Las Pioneras’ que son proyectos que rpesentamos pero hasta el momento todavía no han sido aprobadas en la institución, como así también hay otras obras que si bien ya fueron aprobadas, todavía no han sido ejecutadas como la intervención en el patio interno de Chacra II, la posibilidad de mejorar el tema de la iluminación, la seguridad en esos lugares”.
En este sentido agregó que “tenemos un proyecto como el Centro Cultural de la Soberanía, teniendo en cuenta que se propone por un lado la suspensión del presupuesto participativo, pedimos que se puedan finalizar aquellas obras que se iniciaron con el mismo y que todavía no han sido finalizadas porque se han suspendido en estos tres años de gestión por diferentes cuestiones, pero que también puede tener como destino el Centro Cultural de la Soberanía”.
Calisaya señaló que “quedaron claros los números que expuso la funcionaria municipal, teniendo en cuenta que la obra pública se sostiene en gran parte de recursos nacionales”, dijo, al tiempo que agregó que “al estar todavía el presupuesto abierto porque recién lo comenzamos a tratar, aún podemos incorporar algunas obras como más pavimentación de calles y más veredas”.

Por su parte el concejal Walter Abregú consideró como “positiva la exposición de los funcionarios municipales, donde han sido muy claros respecto de lo que se viene realizando y en materia de lo que se presupuesta para el año 2023”, dijo, al tiempo que agregó que “se está trabajando fuertemente en todo lo que asfaltado y repavimentación de calles, lo cual es muy importante para toda la ciudad y obras muy importantes que se están llevando adelante como es el nuevo natatorio o el Centro de Salud de Chacra XI y otras obras más que van a servir para la comunidad en beneficio de los vecinos”.
Asimismo el edil destacó el “apoyo que tenemos desde Nación con el envío de fondos nacionales para el desarrollo de obras en toda la ciudad, por lo cual es importante recalcar que desde el gobierno nacional siempre piensan en Tierra del Fuego y particularmente en Río Grande”.
Por último manifestó que “hasta el momento es muy positiva la presentación general del presupuesto que realizó el secretario de Finanzas Diego López y hoy la arquitecta Mónaco, ahora vamos a seguir a la espera de las distintas secretarías para poder escucharlos y ver todo lo que se viene haciendo para la ciudad”, concluyó.
